Sourcing

Peterborough’s agricultural tradition is evident in the wealth of high-quality local food available at the Saturday Farmer’s Market and the seasonal downtown Market.

We’re pleased to use a wide variety of high-quality local products in our cooking. Currently, many of our vegetables come from Todd Noble at Twin Pines Farm (Keene), Trevor Riel at Riel Acre’s, Squash and Potatoes from our neighbor’s, Tiny Greens pea shoots and many micro greens from Little Leaf Farms and of course the back of Pierre’s car. There organic heirloom tomatoes, beets, garlic, kale, hot peppers and colourful carrots are brightening our fall salads, while the potatoes, squash and garlic will see us into the hearty dishes of winter.

We are also fans of smoking Riel Acre’s chickens, and making meatballs from from Heritage Cattle

We’re always interested in expanding the amount of local food on our menu, so if you are a local producer, please get in touch–email bridget@bythebridge.co.
